We've Spilled the Bottle - of vitamin secrets!

The term ‘skin deep’ we think is one of the more false phrases we've heard of (it’s implications anyway). At Nopal the way we see it is your skin reflects what's going on underneath it. It reflects what we put in it and how we treat it with our thinking. Vitamins are a healthy start if you're clueless on how to achieve healthy skin and feel good. Your body is one massive filter and what you choose to put into it including the type of thought you manifest and entertain will come out on your skin. Whether through wrinkles from access cortisol or blemishes from no sunscreen.. Or the preservative-packed meal you may have splurged on two weeks ago (its ok! Splurges are ok with other discipline- forgive yourself rather that guilt yourself- negativity causes more blemishes). It ripples. The majority of the time your skin is a giant neon sign telling you how to heal yourself.

What are vitamins? They’re organic molecules that contain micronutrients of what your body already contains to help build

immunity and prevent deficiency. often they include minerals or fats.

Start first with vitamins and a few tips to make your process easier and really pack a punch for ultra skin health.

Myths of Vitamins:

Fact: Vitamin D helps with bone health

Vitamin C prevents colds: Nope - Myth! you can still get a cold!

Fact: Doses of vitamins over

pills are proven to extend longer life.

Fact:Women Played An Important Role In The Discovery Of Many Vitamins Marguerite Davis co-discovered the existence of vitamin A in 1913, Katherine Bishop was part of the team that discovered vitamin E in 1922, and Lucy Wills was the sole discoverer of folic acid.

Can you ‘overdose‘? YES! like anything natural or not you can have too much or too little of something. Like anything you put in your body can create access build up in the Kidneys like Calcium and minerals that can toxify. Follow recommended daily dosages and pay close attention to how your body responds. I find it also helps to give the vitamin combos a week or so for your body to adjust and you to see a change good or bad.

Multi-Vitamin: Will does not make up for poor nutrition. It will help balance however, can create a bigger block as your body tried to accommodate more foreign nutrients while unhealthy + lack of energy.

It DOES help create a good platform to begin self-health and care with other vitamins. Important to look at an accredited brand that has been tested and contains Fish Oil, Vitamins A, and C in order to help boost immunity and overall skin and gut health and prevent anemia. By looking for these attributes you are creating prevention routines with your body to begin to fight off and burn bad fat and toxins.
